Apr 20: Qatar national human rights committee (NHRC), in collaboration with Qatar cultural Centre for the Deaf and Mute, is organising the second Gulf forum starting today at the Ritz Carlton hotel.

The agenda of the two-day event, to be held under the patronage of HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Hertiage Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, includes several topics including services rendered to the deaf and the modern technology and the means of communication for the deaf.

The forum is aimed at revealing the ambiguity surrounding the conditions of the deaf adults, education and employment, and the internationalconvention on enabling people with disabilities.
